WINNER

The winning team were from MCA department of Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai. Saurabh Patil, Vighnesh Sarwankar, Abhilash Javalkoti were the three Musketeers who bagged the winning trophy. They worked on the solution of accurate data to identify malnourished infants.A solution that helps measure the height accurately, doesn’t matter the way the object to be measured is positioned, curved, straight, crooked vertical or horizontal the app helps us the measure the length of the targeted object in the same accuracy as you may measure it manually. All that is needed to do is to define the reference surface and using the surface as reference measure any object that you may wish to measure. One does not need to bother about the distance or the clarity of the image of the object one wants to measure. just focusing the app camera on the object and mark the part of the object which one wants to measure. Then the app can accurately tell the user the measure (Length/Height) of the targeted object

1st RUNNER UP

This team was from the Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai. Jay, Mitali, Krutik and Akash developed an incredible solution for tracking the health services and medical outcome of the clinic visits to encourage health seeking behavior among the underprivileged. The solution simplifies the process of data collection, it in a way reduces field workers’ workload. The application maximizes feedback coverage. The application was increases the relevance of the entire feedback taking process also increases the utility apart from just taking feedback.

2nd RUNNER UP

This team was also from MCA department of Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai. Suraj, Jagruti and Rahul worked on the problem statement of collecting attendance from schools located in remote villages.Tracking attendance in the schools and learning centres located in remote villages becomes a challenge for the nonprofit. These students developed a solution where the application would try to recognize the face of the students.Attendohub is a mobile application which takes the attendance of the students by face recognition process. It works offline as internet connectivity is not available in rural areas. This Application is primarily used by the teachers. Teachers takes the attendance using Android phone by face recognition process and all these attendance data stored in a excel sheet with in that mobile storage. NGO’s will use the excel sheet for tracking the attendance of student. This face recognition feature is supported only on snapdragon processor.
